I'm at least glad they're in the East.

Probably he will meet the Knicks and the Blazers as well.

I don't think most people realize how bad he was defensively last year compared to any of his prior seasons. He is no longer a good rim protector, doesn't switch and lost lateral quickness. He isn't a bad player but no longer an impact player. He has one elite skill left, rebounding... and even those stats are inflated because he cheated on switches and coming over to defend the rim to get more rebounds.

He will likely be better than whoever the Rockets start at center, but not by much.

I was hoping he might want to sign with Atlanta and Horford to sign with us, and maybe a sign-and-trade could happen; but we'll have to hide and watch.

Playing in one's hometown sounds like a dream come true on one hand but a nightmare on the other---Too many distractions. But he'd sign in Atlanta if the money is right.

I could see him go East, just because it's easier.

And I don't think people realize he dropped the devilish agent and average trainers. Don't be surprised if he plays better than expected...I still don't think he fits here anymore, but he could make us look stupid anyway..

I think the truth is in the middle honestly, he will probably do a better job than what he did here this season, hell, he quitted on the team, it's not going to be hard to do better...but it's also true what Nook said, he lost something and it's understandable, he's game is all based on athleticism, and that's not going to get better with the time, he's getting old, a lot of years on his body, multiple injuries...

Blazers make the most sense IMO.

Small market team first of all. It hasn't worked out for him in big markets.

Also of course on the court. He has two shooters to space the floor with him.

He can get some athleticism back, with the right rehab, there's room there for significant improvement. His mechanics are screwed up. It's not just age..

If they aren't fixed by now then it's never gonna be fixed.

Yeah, obviously his mechanics are screwed, his athleticism i don't know, maybe he can do a bit better but i certainly don't expect him to turn the clock back by 5 years.

I like the fit with Atlanta. If Horford stays, he'll finally get to play his preferred position of power forward and let Howard go deep. Coach bud has a great system which Howard which Howard needs to flourish efficiently. Miami is aging and Toronto may have peaked, Atlanta can take over this slot aith some saavy bench pickups and if Shroeder can play consistently and stay on the court.

Dwight's next season will be better than his last.

This gimmick system we ran with very little ball movement can detach players from the game at both ends.

... with a return to the Houston Rockets widely seen as unlikely ...

Methinks Howard knows that Morey will not make him his best offer.

Phoenix might be able to save his career.
