No one wants to face us in the playoffs
Keep it up yeah. By the time the Warriors reach the finals I think all of this stuff will be called out. We KNOW Doc Rivers and Paul, Griffin, are going to shout and scream about this stuff after every game. Hopefully they won't seem like the golden boys the media makes them out to be after all this.
Its good to see the GM stand up for the players and bring some national attention to it. Even if it doesnt change the outcome of this series and maybe players/media will say Daryl is being a crybaby but I am glad he is sticking up for the players. GS, well namely Bogut and Green get away with so much physicality. The play by Bogut was downright bush league he makes a second yank motion thats obvious and the league should have a hard line when it comes to players looking to actively injure other players. IMO Bogut should be suspended at least one game. Personally the physicality that the Warriors play with I am ok with IF the Rockets are allowed the same, but they aren't. If Dwight could be able to use his full strength and do the same sort of plays guys would be getting injured all over. Dwight is punished for his strength often times way more than he should be. I mean consistency Capela got called for an illegal screen last night that was minor compared to the screens set by the Warriors last night.
That's the kind of tweeting I don't mind from Morey. He's standing up for his team and calling out the dirty tactics of the Warriors.
Meanwhile in DMo's world... Spoiler <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/jasonterry31">@jasonterry31</a> I had no idea ...!!! <a href="https://t.co/ci3LorkoQl">pic.twitter.com/ci3LorkoQl</a></p>— Donatas Motiejunas (@DonatasMot) <a href="https://twitter.com/DonatasMot/status/723536476013662209">April 22, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Agreed. It's not whining about losing due to poor officiating. It's calling out the refs for not protecting his players and allowing the other team to be dirty. If the refs don't control things, don't be surprised if punches are thrown. They'd be well deserved for the dirty plays Golden State does with league protection.
I actually have no issue with him calling out dirty play. Someone needs to. ****s getting ridiculous.
Good job. He's going to get fined but this is worth it. If it was the regular season, or he did it after every game it would have been too much. But it's really appaling how no media is commenting on those incidents from yesterday and noone calling for suspensions. There have been endless discussions in the media about much less than what Bogut did yesterday. But since it's GSW nothing. The golden boys.
