    Someone please make this happen.

These two on defense are arguably worse than harden. Ty Lawson finally starts playing like himself and he has to be in lineups featuring these two scrubs.

Also please give Thornton regular rotation minutes.

    TIA

They are about to trade both of them, they aren't taking them out of the rotation and killing whatever small trade value they have.

You can't create value when you keep losing. Thats not how the stock market works.

I hope so. Trade them to take them out of the rotation. :)

Actually that's a large part of how the stock market works. But that's besides the point. Doesn't necessarily work when Brewer and Jones are killing their own value.

His defense alone is enough to always make it bad.

So a bench player is mostly responsible for our failure this year, not the coach, not Harden's D and not others?

I wish Avery Bradely was on the trading block. He is absolutely the most perfect fit for this team.

Because you started a thread that is unnecessary... Both are role players and nobody is untouchable..... anyone will be traded

so picking out those 2 just confirms how much you hate them

It is a team game and team failure. So it is on everyone.

Again you're jumping to weird conclusions.

Those two are a big problem because they are a significant part of the rotation and severely underperforming on both ends, especially defense. Meanwhile they are the most easily replaceable.

It makes perfect sense to target those two.

While others who were playing poorly, such as Lawson and Beverley have improved since their disastrous start, these two have not.

It's obviously the entire team faltering. But it has to be addressed in a logical way. Take care of the weakest links first.

Obviously Jones is playing bad to avoid being traded. Understandable.

But he has shown he is young player that can play up to standard when his head is into it and to his strength which is exploiting mismatches on Offense, being a SF-PF hybrid.

Don't know much about Brewer, but he is a heart out hustle guy who is too skinny to play basketball and it works when the whole team is playing sound basketball.

Last season when the team was playing ok in the regular season he did ok.
This year his game he is just resembling half of the starting lineup, disorganized, inconsistent and bad.

I do not jump to any conclusions. You are just starting the 100th trade xxxx player thread. It is not funny.

They've both been in the league long enough.

What you see is what you get. They've been like this and will continue to be like this.

At least when Brewer is at his best he is a significant contributor as a slasher and in the open court. His defensive shortcomings can be overlooked at those times. At least until the coach decides to put him on the opposing team's best player when Ariza is on the bench.

They should put Harden on those players when Ariza is on the bench to make him accountable. At least he has the ability unlike Brewer, whose only assets on defense are his steals.

Jones provides nothing. Poor defense. Gets killed in pick and rolls. Poor rebounding. And on offense, he used to be good at finishing at the rim but he has severely regresses in that regard. Capela has overtaken that role anyway.

And yes. You did jump to an odd conclusion that I think these two are responsible for everything wrong with the Rockets.

They are responsible for a share of things that can be easily rectified by trading them or taking them out of the rotation. Compare that with trying to solve Harden's issues or a number of other bigger problems we have. Getting rid of these two is patchwork that is needed.

If getting rid of those two and out of the rotation is your wish and keeps you from posting threads like this yup hell JB should consider it.:rolleyes:

Part to blame is Lawson is also only a contributor on O and not on D.

80% of the team consists of one way players and we knew that coming in.
    It is a big problem.

If you don't have anything to add to the discussion (point of a forum) feel free to ignore the thread. No one is making you post. It's better than whining about threads you don't like.

I checked the last few pages and there wasn't a topic specifically discussing these two.
