Chris Walker, Tyler or Joshua Smith? It would not surprise me if they all have NBA careers. Walker has off the charts athleticism. Tyler has good athletism and an outside shot. Big Josh is just a natural center at say 280 or so. In most of the last 10 years I think each of them could have made the team as at least the 15th man.
FatJosh needs to hit the gym hard before he'll ever get an NBA contract. He's got some talent, but not enough to overcome that body. That's not just "natural center" size, he's simply not in the the shape an NBA player needs to be in -- there's way too much flab on the kid.
All 3 look to have great potential. Didn't realise they were all fighting for the last roster spot. Walker looked very athletic, but just very wild. Smith, although a bit man at around 350 pounds (WOW), managed to get pretty high off the ground and surprised me with his ability last night. Tyler looked to be the most polished of the 3 though. Didn't seem to get as much of the ball as the other 2 and didn't look that flashy, but looks to be very strong. Given we have Capella, Howard and DMo, I'd say we're doing just fine in the centre and Smith might be cut based on that. Neither of the 3 will get any or many minutes this season, so really can't go wrong with whomever is selected I wouldn't think.
I'd like to see Walker and Smith in the D League, since I think they could be something but they definitely arent there yet. Tyler seems decent and wouldn't be a bad 15th man. He has good size and seems more r control when on the court.
Joshua Smith: fatty puds will go to RGV for the season, will learn a lot there, has already been told to shed pounds. If he can lose 40-50 lbs he is a good shot at making the roster next year. Chris Walker: possibly has the most raw talent of the 3 players. But needs to borrow those 40-50 lbs from Smith. Fits the bill in terms of rim protection better than the other 2, but needs a lot of work. Again, is his signing to secure talent for RGV? Jeremy Tyler: I think this guy is by far the most likely to make the roster. Has great NBA size, has 4 years experience. Knows what he can and cannot do. Not likely to make a mistake, and can stick the 15-18 footer with some regularity. My guess is that he gets the non-guaranteed deal, and rides the pine in case of emergency. Of course, Will Cummings might still sneak the final roster spot?

Walker was more impressive so far. But, I think Tyler is more or less the incumbent/default choice, and I think he'll still be the choice in the end.
You went through so many threads and posts from BBholic and Boobiethegreat that your mind is all warped up now, namely, you see things that aren't there.
Joshua With all the cushions he has, he won't hurt no body in practice .... Unless he fall on someone. If this kid can be mobile with all his weight, imagine if he shed some.
this 15th spot may actually be quite important, the games Dwight sits early when D-Mo isn't fully fit could open this spot up for a few minutes backing Capela.
