    Rockets is so promising this year, we have talents, experience, athletes, super-stars.

    I think Mchale now has a happy problem: how to fit these guys into the rotation to optimize the well oil machine?

    I would suggest:
    C HOWARD (28m) CAPELA (20m)
    PF D-Mo (30m)Dekker (15m) Harrell (3m)
    SF Ariza(30m) Brewer(12m) KJ (12m)
    SG Harden(30m) Thornton(15m)
    PG lawson (30m) beverely (15m)

    I prefer dekker/harrell to t jones at our 4th spot. A draft pick for T jones will do.

    What do you think?

    Pretty much agree...but Thornton's experience may get him playing time over KJ...at least early season.

    Ariza is our fourth best player and the guy who is going to guard LeBron, Kawhi, etc

    "Best" gets murky, but my value ranking is as follows:

    1. Harden
    2. Dwight
    3. Ty
    4. Ariza
    5. DMo
    6. Capela
    7. Bev
    8./9. TJ/Corey
    10. I think there are multiple guys who could fill this last slot by mid-season, which is a GREAT problem to have. If KJ develops any semblance of a reliable jumper, he seems like a no-brainer. I just like him.

    LOL @ OP playing Harrell a strong 3 minutes per game. Random.

    U guys are crazy if you think dekker or Harrell is going to be better than jokes this year. If the rockets are serious about winning which they are jones will be playing 20 min a night easy. Off the bench you can do a lot worse than a young big who gets 12/7 playing off stars.

    I think that's how the minutes will ultimately shake up with jet getting spot minutes of we need some shooters on the court.

    Our team is very stacked and it will show around December when we can rest guys and still beat mediocre teams with mostly backups and harden.

    A lineup featuring Howard, Capela, Ariza, Brewer, KJ and Beverly would be somewhat suffocating
