I think it's highly likely that RG3 is on his way out of DC.

    Do we bite?

Fitz had his best year under O'Brien last year, and I'm hopeful for Hoyer. I don't think we'll get Hackenberg or even a franchise QB through the draft in the next 5 years.

It's a necessary question to ask, and the dude has a lot of upside IMO, but I think Gruden/Shanahan did not provide the best environment or coach dutifully.

But, RG3 is smart, and I feel that he will take quickly to BOB's system and can flourish in this situation.

We don't need to take any chances at the QB position. We have Brian Hoyer.

Nope, and from what I've heard he doesn't take to coaching very well. So him and O'Brien would be like oil and water.

But if you can get him for nothing I say why the hell not

If the Redskins cut him then of course.

I'm not saying I like it... but at this point, you're pot-committed to Hoyer. You don't disrupt that with a late August, shot-in-the-dark QB signing; that does Hoyer no favors.

Dance with who brung ya, or whatever. Hoyer or bust...

BOB's scheme is a horrible fit for RGIII. No way they pick him up. RGIII would be better served going to the Eagles and playing backup.

so it is written, so shall it be

    Ill keep this simple...damaged goods.

His coach left him out to get destroyed...in a preseason game.

He needs time away from the game and needs to reevaluate his game overall.

I think Jay Gruden has almost ruined his career. He's a **** coach and left his QB out on a limb to get hurt multiple times. I'd definitely take a chance on him but I don't know how well he fits here. Either way, some offensive minded coach should take a chance on him and see what he can do

Cowboys or Eagles are his likely destinations.

You do know that RGIII had a hand in why his old coach got fired, no?

The guy apparently has issues with his O-linemen too... which definitely calls into question about how dumb one player can be to throw the guys under the bus who may or may not decide to protect you.

Certainly, he'll get another chance somewhere.... even could be here... but he's got a long way to go to recapturing that 2012 magic.

And RGIII is likely behind Colt McCoy on the Redskins depth chart...

I'm sure his old coach had a major hand in getting fired without RGIII even having to say a word.

I'd rather sign Jamarcus than RGIII
