Nothing to get excited about. The Warriors were not going to give him the max outright. They want him to sign an off sheet and then they will match it. Saves them a bunch of money.

Just means they're letting the market decide. He's about to get paid more than Curry.

I suspect someone will throw max money at Green though, so will Golden State be willing to match if that happens? Carroll got 4 years $60 million and Midddleton got 5 year $70 million, with rumors saying Millsap has been offered 4 years $80 million by the Magic. Warriors are already projected to be in the luxury tax. They want to trade David Lee, but will likely have to give up assets to have someone take that contract off their hands.

No thanks, overrated, undersized and he is not that good. The coach's system of and Curry made him look good. If signs somewhere else he'll be average and maybe a back up.

Curry made him look good? How and where? On offense? Nobody cares about his offense. ****, Green was too busy making opposing PF's look umm, not so good.

This is the correct answer. The annual raises alone saves them money, so why not let him explore the open market and then match his max offer from some random team.

Since free agency started, I see some people still don't quite get the concept of a max contract. Everyone's maximum salary isn't the same. Draymond was a 2nd round pick in 2012.

Draymond's max with the Warriors is like 5 years $91M. His max with any other team would be around 4 years $67M.

Your thinking is off! In Morey they trust. No way a guard makes a Power Forward look good. Even though Curry has the ball in his hand 80% of the time, it's the Power Forward that controls everything. Who needs Guards????

Can he guard Aldridge? No. He only guarded small players. When the Rockets played them he was all over Terry and Harden. lmao he is a punk for going after little guys. He is no where Adridge and other big size PF with good post ups. He is overrated as hell. I rather stay with D-Mo or pay Aldridge the max money then go after a midget who only played good due to the coach's system.
