Article mentions that he is starting with Lakers and Rockets, and then spends the rest of the time talking like he is going to Lakers, Spurs, or Mavs?? Wut?

I am a fan, this guy is a beast, he has murdered us in the past, but I really think flexibility and ability to add to the roster go with LMA here. It's a sign that top free agents respect us, but I think the price in addition to likely losing ariza, smith brewer etc actually hurts our flexibility. keep what we have, get a PG, sign Lull and build don't take the identity of what proved to be the third best team in the NBA over an entire season and postseason

Lol cyber knew this days ago and no one else even had us as a possibility. I don't expect him to sign with us but I know we'll pull out all the stops that's all we can ask! Here's to another off-season of constant refreshing

I doubt the meeting order is any kind of indication of anything too. Just how the schedule turned out for him.

If the Rockets go the cap space route to get LMA there's no money to sign a PG above the vet min right?

I assume the theory is that you can make due with Beverly as your PG when you make a significant talent upgrade with LMA.

Justy a question does anyone think we can keep Howard and Harden and Aldridge very long together. Aldridge and howard will both will qualify for 35% of the cap next year and expect it. That's 70% of our cap next year tied up in 2 players. 30% left for everyone else with Harden taking most of that. You got to believe Morey is thinking Howard is not long in or future. And gutting the team is not really an option. SnT or Dumping Howard now in a deal like a couple of first and Smart and Olynyk gets us cheap contracts and young solid players for the future.

Even after that we could do a SnT. Portland would be more negotiable knowing we don't have to do it. A Snt has always been the best option. Allowing us to resign our own FA and keep our MLE for Llull or longer contracts for McDaniel and Montrez.

Okay I'm up to late to think but if I'm thinking about this you can be sure Morey has a thousand more scenarios and I'm just scratching the surface.

Once we hitched our wagon to Howard, it would take all kinds of gymnastics to add a contract like LMA without trading Howard. This is our team basically, fill in around the max guys.

Too many hands for a prized cherry, 20% chance, cautiously optimistic

Yep... They have to rescind everyone and trade most of the rest.

Would rather resign Bev Brewer and Smith.. Bring in a PG like and a pure shooter or a Solid PF/C.

    PG/Bev
    Harden/KJ or Shooter/Terry
    Ariza/Brewer
    DMO/Smith/Scola
    Dwight/ BackupCenter/Capella

Hopefully this happens. We have Depth with this scenario. Hope this pulls through
