The Rockets’ talented big man has been heckled and harangued for shooting too much and from all the wrong places. But after leaving his hometown Hawks and a messy divorce in Detroit, Smith may have finally found a home, and postseason success, in Houston.

    Nice read! Thanks.

For those who remember better: why was Mo Cheeks fired after a 21-29 start? That's not bad considering the roster he had. Did something else go on?

    Thanks, J.R.

Smith has quickly become one of my favorite Rockets. Loved him as JSmoove from years ago, but HE is one of our biggest fighters. HE takes the losses personally. HE is the bridge between Dwight and James.

And, HE along with CB, saved our season.

I hope Morrey makes everything possible to resign him.

Terrific read. Smoove is a roller coaster, but definitely one of my favorite Rockets.

    Excellent article.

So I guess we now know where Josh gets his confidence from. Dear old Dad.

I guess I haven't been reading threads carefully enough, or I missed this when it was first revealed, but I never realized that he requested his 2nd team role. That's pretty amazing.

JSmoove is a great addition ...but he DOES need to stop shooting 3's. When Smoove goest to the rim, good things happen. When Smoove pulls up for a 3...boink. BOOOOOO

...but on the bright side, Pablo couldn't hit the broad side of a barn in the post-season, and Monday he looked like Klay Thompson. So maybe there's hope.
