So Howard didn't look to challenge ANY shots around the rim in the 2nd half. He doesn't look hurt.

    What's the deal?

Hard to challenge shots when you're being held down by Tyson..

Did you watch the rockets play defense past two games?

I don't know if its just me but I remember Howard looking slightly gimpy at one point during the game. Maybe not, but I thought at the time he had hurt his knee or something.
He looked like a completely different player after that point. Maybe I'm just wrong, and he was slumping like the rest of the team. Dear god I hope so.

We lost tonight because Dwight and Ariza didn't show up. Especially disappointed at Dwight. If you can't hit your free throws, at least deliver on what you're supposed to be good at. How many offensive rebounds did the mavericks players got over Dwight? smh...

They did an excellent job in getting our rim defense out of position. Also explains why we couldn't grab any OREBs

Nope that wasn't it. He clearly did not look to block any shots around the basket in the 2nd half. If he really wanted to, Tyson would not be able to "hold" him down

JJ and Monta were getting to the rim at will and Dwight had to choose between challenging or staying with Tyson.

JJ was making things happen with his penetration and Dallas's bigs fed off it. Dwight can't do everything down there.

I was quite saddened by the defensive collapse there. Dallas got every shot they wanted and it was their day for it to fall.

looked like he was grabbing his left knee on the right baseline earlier in the game. wouldn't be surprised if that was hampering him afterwards

There were a lot of long rebounds. Dwight was in position for a lot. The rebounds that were short Chandler was holding him.

he can't leave Tyson that's the problem. Their guards had free passes into the lane and they could either lob it or do a floater. Dwight just decided he can't block the floater, he might as well stay in position for the rebound

I saw this too. Very concerned. He didn't look right after that.

He mailed it in along with the rest of the Rockets on defense after the first quarter.

If I see a tweet saying Dwight tore a meniscus or something and is out for the series, I'm going to be depressed as ****.
    Well, we'll know by Tuesday.

I'm just glad Dwight isn't the second best player on the team and when he has a fart game that we've got Terrence there to:

    1. spread the floor
    2. play stellar D
    3. finish in the paint
    4. get double-doubles

Howard just came out and said the right things in the press conference basically expressing he and James have to lead the team better. I'm hoping he and Harden practice what they preach on Tuesday.
