I've thought this, especially over Steve Kerr

I'll give steve credit but he is probably the only coach in the western conference that hasn't had almost any injurys. He was blessed with splash brothers

Yes, seriously. It's b/c a lot of us on here really don't know s**t about what it takes to make a good coach in the NBA. Period. Flame away.

It's ok. The McHale rants are a good and easy way to see if a poster has credibility or not very quickly. Look at the silver lining here.

"The only surprise to Carlisle, and to several others across the league, is that McHale hasn't been given more credit for it.

'He should be mentioned more for Coach of the Year for coaching this team to second in the West without (center Dwight) Howard most of the year," Carlisle said. "He is a great basketball guy. He has become one of the best coaches in the NBA.'"

I hate that team, but always respected Carlisle, even since he took a mediocre Pistons team to a division title. And he's right.

He plain sucks at X's and O's. His adjustments are risky. But one thing that's been consistent: his players are always ready to play. Except Capela. But he's coming along.

And I cannot agree more. I truly do not think I can. I think McHale has done an excellent job this year.

They are a loud minority. But just let them rant, they are like LOF's.

Coaches and nba players across the league credit and love him

But according to clutchfans he is the worst coach in the nba

I think these guys might know a little more than clutchfans posters

I mean, you know, people forget stuff like:

++ Phil Jackson never led the Bulls to the Finals w/o Michael Jordan- matter of fact, he didn't lead them past Orlando in 1995- was Brian Hill better than him??

++ What happened when Rick Carlisle lost key players from the 2011 championship team? First round and out.

I think coaching can certainly make a difference, but this "McHale is the worst" nonsense really needs to end. And that's all I'll say.

He doesn't suck at Xs and Os. He's not as good as others...but again, people on here don't understand what the word "hyperbole" means, so it is no surprise.

I think McHale has done great in some aspect. But he was also responsible for some of the meltdowns in the past seasons.

You just take the good with the bad..... and Carlisle is a shrewd fox......he says all the praise to mess with your head like Cuban by giving credit

(Cuban did take a dump on Rockets earlier and had negative comments)

Why say it now? What is the purpose? He could have said it earlier when Rox was leading 3-1, or 2-1 regular season.

It's amusing to see people continue to gloss over the word "candidate"

The man deserves recognition, ya salty bishes

Of course, being that you're a complete moron, you totally missed the point- but again, doesn't surprise me from douchebag fans.
