    It seems the Rockets every season need a single win to solidify playoff positioning. Rockets just need to win. Just win god damnit.

    It is so disappointing thinking about how locked in the Rockets would be to the 2 seed if they just had anything but atrocious injury luck this year.

    They just need to win, there's no excuse to lose HCA on the last day! If we lose, I'll feel a lot less confident than last year.

    Even with the injuries, the Rockets had so many disappointing, frustrating losses. You look back and you just shake your head. Before anyone says those are just the games that all teams have during the course of a season... F&*^k off :grin:

    Can someone explain why we would be 2nd over Clippers if we win and Spurs lose?

    We will have the same record as them. I know we are tied with the Clippers in the season series. I thought the next tiebreaker was the division winning percentage, which theirs is better.

    Am I missing something?

    We would be division winners and the Clippers would not. That trumps everything if records are identical.

    The first tie breaker is division winner. Rockets will be division winner if Rockets win and Spurs lose. Clippers is not a division winner.

    Knowing our luck we'll somehow end up playing the Spurs. I really want to beat down the Mavs though. We owe them an ass whooping coming up on 10 years.
