Rockets 94-95 Astrodome Chamiponship Rally

I would love to see this. I was 11 and was front row next to the stage. I got on the broadcast a couple of times. I'd pay if someone had a copy of this they could dub and sell me.

I have a VHS tape of the Astrodome celebration (hosted by Mattress Mac) as well as the '94 championship parade. I've often wished I could share it with ClutchFans, because who else would care? But I don't have anything close to the equipment/software to get it off a tape and on to the Web.

 

Can you make a copy of the tape and send it to someone can do something with it?

 

VHS to DVD Burner, Rip DVD, then convert to .AVI! I would love to see this again.

 

Problem is, how would you share it? Is there any way we could share old footage on a private server or anything? I have plenty of footage and full games that are not common that I would love to share.

Theoretically, yeah, but I don't have two VCRs handy. And who would I even send it to? Clutch? He probably has better things to do. It's always been just a little too much trouble to be worth it, from my perspective. But if the Rockets win it all this year, I pledge to get it done! lol

Here are a couple of pics of the tape. I got it a few years ago, unopened, at a Heights antiques store. There's no barcode on the thing, and I don't remember ever seeing them for sale. Judging by the prominence of their logo, I'm guessing it was produced by Ch. 11 for purposes unknown.

 

I have this on VHS and do have a converter. Unfortunately it is at my parents house and I wont be able to do anything about it until I go back over there. Not sure when but it will be within the next 2-3 weeks. If you're willing to wait

Don't know how busy R2K is, but he has EVERYTHING you need to do this.

 

I would dearly love to vape a bag or two with R2K and get that sucker online. He's probably as busy as I am, though. Hell, he has to keep this place sane, for one.

 

They have a device at BEest Buy called Dazzle DVD Recorder.
You record straight from VHS to computer.
Costs maybe $55 bucks or so.
Is worth the investment in my opinion if you have much on VHS.
