    Go Sixers, Kings, Rockets, Warriors, Mavs, and Suns.

    Could be a great night for the Rockets if they take care of business and get some help from other teams. They're guaranteed to reduce that magic number against either Dallas or San Antonio which is always good.

    What difference does it make for us( Rockets) whether Dallas wins or not? Please explain that to me.

    The Rockets are most likely going to be the 3rd seed, and presumably he wants the Mavs in the first round. A Mavs win puts them in the 6th seed for the night.

    It matters because the Spurs only have 26 losses and still have 2 games left with us. It's not impossible for them to finish ahead of us if we go on any sort of losing streak. And with the Clippers and Blazers right behind us as well, home court advantage is still not even close to a lock.

    The Mavs losing does nothing for us since they already have 27 losses and are almost assured to finish behind the Rockets in the standings. So I hope they win tonight.

    Yeah, I'm really hoping Philly or Boston does us a favor against the Clippers this weekend. It's entirely possible they only lose 1 or 2 more games the rest of the way.

    The chance of the rockets to get the seed #2 is getting high if Grizzlies are going to lose next two games (Golden, and Spurs). The Mavs losing does something for us to play them at seed #7. I do not think Spurs can catch us if we are going to play a good basketball. If we are not going to play well, three or more teams can catch up us, it is all about us. Rooting for the Mavs to win is a rare thing to do for any rockets fans.
