Harden went down, holding his left knee.
    In a lot of pain.

Doesn't look good. In the locker room.

How long before people blame him playing injured? Even though it's the opposite knee?

Harden was getting double teamed every game since dwight got injured, because he had no help, at least Canaan could have been another ballhandler that could break down the defense and shoot the open unlike Bev... Harden was having too do way too much

its criminal that canaan was not playing

Sick of teams holding him in a bear hug on inbounds plays.

why would anyone blame him? They might blame the rockets for not letting him rest up. Harden's game involves a lot of physicality and contact, its common sense to rest him in these situations.

it was the opposite knee, how would rest affect a fluke injury?

Yep if he is out for an extended period of time (anything longer than 2weeks) will pretty much end our championship aspirations this year

it's usually the opposite leg that gets hurt when you're compensating.

I'm not going to get in that sort of argument, at this point all we need to do is pray for his health. I will answer your question in a concise manner though, when you are already injured, like Harden was (he was clearly favoring his side and passing up open shots/ not driving as much) you are more prone to injury because taking contact involves use of all your muscles in fixating, extension and flexion. The psychological hesitance (of knowing you are hurt) feeds into it as well.

Harden was obviously hurt because (insert favorite bench player ) was not playing.

Harden was cleared by the medical staff and he obviously wanted to play. Stop being an armchair medical trainer and psychologist.

James has a habit of overreacting...

And I can't tell if the injury happened when he planted or when he landed on it. For the former, looks like MCL similar to Papa.
