Has there even been a franchise that selected 3 consecutive MVP caliber players in the 1st round in 3 consecutive drafts. I'm not sure if I should consider this sheer luck or amazing scouting. It's just plain ridiculous.
The draft is such a crapshoot. Some years you may get 2003 draft and other years you may end up with the 2011 draft, and for number 1 overall picks sometimes players such a LeBron/Anthony Davis that come out and other years Anthony Bennet becomes a number 1 overall pick
It's funny how every contending team has drafted a star player, except for the Rockets. Spurs-Duncan Thunder-Durant/Westbrook Cavs-Irving Warriors-Curry Clippers-Griffin Mavs-Dirk Bulls-Rose Grizzlies-Conely Blazers-Lillard Rockets-D-Mo? TJones?
Who cares about drafting? We were able to acquire most of the young superstars-in-the-making like Hasheem Thabeet, Terrence Williams, Jonny Flynn.
You could argue by the end of the year. That the three best players in the league are: Harden Westbrook Durant That could have been the best team of all time. Even if Steven Adams becomes the next Marc Gasol(Obviously wont), it was still a bad trade.
