Yea I know its no secret that they shoot a lot of threes but they shoot far to many and miss a lot. The Rockets will have a hard time making it far into the playoffs shooting and missing so many threes. I know the offense is centered around Harden Iso and Dwight in the post giving open looks to his teammates but I'd like to see more shots and drive-ins..The rockets should emulate the grizzlies and spurs who don't rely heavily on it. Its not practical missing 20 3pt attempts on the offensive end in the playoffs when every team notches up its perimeter defense...

We miss wide open 3's. Wed Be 15-0 if we hit them. But 12-3 is kinda good, as in, 3rd best in league w/o 3 starters.....

    Bad thread.

Take it up with Morey, we really don't have much say in the matter.

They can take as many open 3 pointers as they want, it didn't bother me. The thing that drives me crazy is when they shoot 3s that tightly contested and have no chance going in.

There is absolutely no evidence that the trey is less effective in the playoffs than in the regular season. Sorry.

Like that Terry three over Cousins with 18 seconds still on the shot clock. Those are horrible shots.

Inside out. That's how they play. Now you want them to play only inside? Not gonna happen.

Yep. Ariza and Garcia had some too. It's basically an automatic brick, especially if it's Garcia shooting it.

Well, there's your problem. You watched one series while the rest of us watched the entire postseason.

The Rockets didn't shoot the 3 well that series but they weren't horrible either, maybe around the mid to lower 30's as far as percentage for the series. The Rockets didn't lose that series because of 3pt shooting, they lost it because they could not defend.

J.R with the subtle goods. We watch every year, as the masses flock to whatever the messiah says.

The Rockets will shoot less 3s once Howard comes back. With our current roster, it's basically impossible to get to the rim consistently. Better to hoist up a 3 than a 2, even with a lower %.
