Rushing Durant isn't wise. With that type of injury, the organization and himself have to be 200% sure.

Ah, mortgaging your future because your present looks really bleak. Not super smart.

That's why I respect Rose so much, No one should sacrifice their potential future health and career for a few games or to save a season.

The organizations are only using players and don't give a F, be smart and protect your body/future. Teams won't give you retirement checks and pension.

Yeah, Durant might want to sit some more. You don't want recurring problems with that injury. He shouldn't play before 2015.

Are you telling me guys that earn 20m a year and get even more for advertisements (didnt KD just sign a deal close to 300m?) need to worry about retirement and pension? They got that covered for their great-grandchild's great-grandchildren (hope that's corrent English right there).

Would be smart to let Durant sit out longer though, as someone said especially with that kind of injury.

Well at the end of the day its up to Durant and Westbrook to say no.
Organization can push them, but they can't really force them to play.

So dumb for Durant to rush back...but good luck to him.

Didn't he miss too many games to qualify?
Durant has/will have missed too many games.

No one here has any idea how quickly either of these guys are healing or whether their injuries are being rushed or not. Some people just heal faster than was expected - look at Adrian Peterson, for example, the year after his ACL tear.

That's their job. If they don't want to risk injury, they should get a different job.

This is about coming back from injury/rushing back when not fully healed. It's not their job to play through an inury and risk their longterm health.

Score 1500 OR play 70 games

If he plays 60 games he would only have to score 25 per game to qualify.

If he plays 50 games he would have to average 30 to qualify.

    He's not out of it.
