Obrien has officially named mallett the starter. But... But... But it's not Fitzpatrick fault!

I'm OK with a tank job if that's what happens. I just hope next year we can draft some players that can actually play and contribute.

 

It's sad that it took this long. I knew right away since the first preseason game that Fitzpatrick was going to be awful.

He has no sense of timing, rhythm, pocket presence, stares down his receivers, turnover prone and has a weak limp dick of an arm.

 

We have Schaub back again but with a stronger arm. Not accurate and the plays Fitz scrambled when he was getting pressured will now be sacks.

You don't know what it will do. Texans best hope is probably Clowney balling out though.

 

Mallet can't extend a play with his feet but i'm hopeful he'll make it up with actually passing the ball. has fitzpatrick even completed a pass in the air over 20 yards? if this season is over i'd rather go down with Mallet.

 

Possibly, but maybe Mallet will get the ball out faster.

what makes you think we air it out with mallet? i expect the same playcalling as they should play it safe with Mallet.
