Okay, we've had all of the greatest cd threads, best one hit wonders, etc, etc...
But what about those bands you like 'in the closet' or really hate to admit you like?
For me, I would have to say:
Hanson
Sum41
Juvenile
Trick Daddy
Mark Morrison (remember "return of the mack")
...yeah..i like hanson AND trick daddy...and they are in the same group

To this day, I can't hear "Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats without singing along.

Ice Ice Baby (I still know all the damn words)
Every time I take a car trip by myself, I can't help but put in the soundtrack to Disney's Aladdin, and I sing along at the top of my lungs.
I'm PROUD to admit that I love '80s hair metal.

OK people, Ice Ice Baby is a good song. Everytime you see a list like this so many people list that song. Obviously quite a few people like it. Plus it was an awesome song when it first came out and the album sold like 7 million copies off of that song alone (was there a second song). Just because people like to make fun of Vanilla, doesn't mean the song isn't good. That is the end of this rant in the ongoing crusade to get Ice Ice Baby some respect.
And not that much music embarrasses me since I listen to some seriously corny stuff, but I'll say a few songs from the Little Mermaid and Aqua.

Before Moby and "Play" came into my life, I was a hopeless top 40/pop radio freak. Here are some of the CDs that I still have (but will probably never listen to again):
Jessica Simpson - Sweet Kisses
Mandy Moore - So Real
Mandy Moore - I Wanna Be With You
Backstreet Boys - Backstreet Boys
Backstreet Boys - Milennium
N'Sync - N'Sync
N'Sync - No Strings Attached
Ricky Martin - Ricky Martin
Enrique Iglesias - Enrique
Dream - It Was All a Dream
Chances are if it was popular and played on top 40 radio alot, then I had it.
I am also ashamed to say that I had Hanson's first CD, the Spice Girls first CD, and the cassette single for the "Macarena". Fortunately, I have gotten rid of that crap.

I don't care what anyone thinks about the music I like, so I guess the answer is none.

I used to like certain songs by the following bands in the 80s:
Cinderella - one or two songs w/ accompanying MTV video
Winger - one or two popular songs w/ accompanying MTV videos
Stryper - Christian rockers had that one popular song w/ MTV video.
Poison - barely....totally hated their look and what they represented; chick band.
Lita Ford w/ Ozzy - that one song/video where she pretends to be hot for a few minutes
Dokken - Dream Warrior(song to movie Nightmare on Elm Street IV I think) and others
Ratt - I heard their one famous song the other day on the radio...hehe.
Def Leppard - chick band if there ever was one.
Bangels - Walk like an......EGYPTIAN!!! AHHHH!!! SOMEONE SHOOT ME!!!!!!
Go Gos - Hey Mickey.....the embarrassment is complete.
Belinda Carlyle solo - that one song/video where they throw the world globe balloons around.....I thought she was hot then and in that video.
I like certain Neil Diamond songs because I grew up listening to it on my Dad's record player but I'm not ashamed of that :D. I'm sure there are more. Am I embarrased yet? I think so. By the way, is Creed's new album as bad as it sounds? I've only heard the one song on the radio but it didn't sound very refreshing. I like their breakout album but I'm not sure why I should be embarrassed about that like Raven. I sort of like some Collective Soul, too. For the record, I only listen to cool music now and I absolutely always despised Sinead O'Connor and George Michael always.
