Will the Pap Smear stick as his nickname?

    I think it's a Dr. Who reference. Kostas is a sci-fi nerd!

Why is this nickname thing so difficult?

    It's KPap
    plain and simple.

Why would both years be non-guaranteed? Seems weird...

Under the CBA, an option year cannot have a lower guarantee than the prior season. Since the Rockets wanted the second year to be non-guaranteed, they needed to make the first year also non-guaranteed. But since Kostas is still getting a pretty nice-sized signing bonus (on top of a non-guaranteed BASE salary), he's apparently willing to deal with the temporary inconvenience of not having his (base) salary guaranteed this season.

My strong assumption is that the Rockets fully intend to keep Kostas around long enough for his salary to become fully guaranteed for this season.

Hey, that was my nickname…I think it's very clever, & will never get old.

Imagine get dunked on by Kostas & Bill Worrell yelling out, 'Pap smear in your face!'

    :p

Come to think of it…it is kind of inappropriate, but think of the marketing possibilities on ladies night.

    Thanks for the info.

Not able to find any clarification yesterday regarding the contract issue till your post, so I assume all parties are happy now?

And when will his contract be 100% guaranteed? That means what is the earliest date if the Rockets will trade him in this season? (which is highly unlikely anyway).

He was nailing all of his 3's in the practice vid ^^^
Let's hope he can repeat that in game situations. I think he's a great pickup.
    Only time will tell though

If Kostas can remotely resemble a career of Peja...ladies and gents, the Rockets are going to not miss Parsons, Lin at all...Kostas will most likely get more burn on the court because he is a darn good shooter.

What does that mean? Peja is one of the best shooters, especially three pointers, of all time. So he resemble Peja just means you want him to be a good shooter? Maybe your making a parallel because of the use of the cyrillic alphabet in their mother countries? I have a hat, now look at this bunny!

Yes, I would cream in my pantalones if he even resembled Peja's toe.
