Logic told Kostas Papanikolaou the time was right for him to make the jump to the NBA, but he wasn’t listening. He didn’t need to.

Papanikolaou said former Rockets Scola, Asik and believe it or not Vasillis Spanoulis among those that recommended he sign with Rockets.
— Jonathan Feigen (@Jonathan_Feigen) September 19, 2014

But I thought the way Morey dealt with players was supposed to turn them off from signing with us?

Only scrubs like T-Will and #BeWell who thinks they are hot stuff instead of the hot garbage that they are would get offended. Well that and K-Mart who thought he was a legit All-Star.

Morey deals with players the same way I deal with friends around a poker table. "You got to know when hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, and know when to run!"

I'm glad to hear Ariza already trying to get all the players together. I'm hyped to see how this upcoming season is.

Trevor invites Papa to eat lunch with the guys.

But will Harden and Howard eat with him? That's the gauge. LOL

I'm really surprised with Ariza. I know he is a great team guy but all the interviews he has done since he signed have raved about Houston and a the Rockets. It's great but he was only here for a year. And even then, it wasn't like that team was anything special. I'm happy he wants to be so involved.

    It just seems weird hahaha

But but I thought the Rockets were evil and Morey treats players like assets and not humans! And I thought McHale was racist!

Hoping Papa can be the player we wanted Casspi to be.

Wow incredible, if he hates it here its a problem, if he likes it here, its also a problem or its "weird" people like you are the ones that have a wife, cheats on her and when she's the one that cheats the world is ending... lol

I hope Morey and Rockets fans will give him time to adjust. Not one year and done.

He plays the right way; he needs to get used to the speed and power of the NBA team. If Ariza can take him under his wing and show him how it's done, he'll play in this league a long time.

Agreed 100%. Veteran leadership is exactly what our team has been lacking (don't tell me "what about Garcia/Howard/etc.")

Really looking forward to Ariza this time around
