David Andersen had his chance. I don't think a 34 year old version of him would be considerably better.

    No thanks.

    Our savior:

Sign him Maury! The dude was a beast and he's only 36. He averaged 17.2 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.3 steals, 1.7 assists, .5 blocks and only 1.5 turnovers...per 100 possessions.

His per game stats were more like 3 and 1.5 but HE DID IT ON 39.1% FROM THE FIELD AND 28.9% FROM DOWNTOWN!!!!

was signed as a backup stretch 4 to play next to yao but had to play in place of yao instead because of injuries.

helped carry the rockets to a win against the lakers on his back and didn't cost the rockets when they traded him. contract justified.

to be clear i'm absolutely not advocating the rockets sign him, lol.

we do need a center with height, but not andersen. bring cato back, he should be about 350 by now. who's gonna move him in the paint? no one. he just has to intimidate the refs to not call 3 sec and he stands there with his hands up the whole time he s in the game.
