That's honestly the best grammar from any UTSA student I've ever seen.

Oh really? You must not meet a lot of people from UTSA then. Plenty of people who went to high school in Houston only went to U of H because they didn't get accepted to their college of choice (UT Austin, A&M, Tech, Baylor, Rice) or they flunked out of the respected college they were attending (UTSA, UT Dallas, UTEP, Lamar).

If you think U of H is superior to UTSA academically you are wrong.

If you want to scout a couple of pro prospects then keep your eye on #3 Deontay Greenberry and #23 Trevon Stewart. Both should be playing on Sundays next fall.

Stewart is like 5'9". No way he ends up playing in the NFL. He brings the wood for his size, but his ball skills have to be great (and they aren't) for a guy like him to make it in the pros.

Maybe not as a 1st rd pick but I think he has nfl talent. Has a nose for the football. Think he forced 4 fumbles and had about 6 recoveries last season.

I guess UH got their Tier One status for their cafeteria food, while UTSA hasn't received it yet because hired professionals can't recognize UTSA's hidden greatness. And I didn't know that an institution's education capabilities were a direct reflection of WHY their students decided to attend it.

I applaud your eager attempt at validation, though. :)

First of all, lighten up Francis. It was a joke. Second of all, I lived in San Antonio for a year and a half after graduating from A&M, and worked very closely with the Civil Engineering Department at UTSA. If anything, I have far more rooting interest with UTSA than I do UH. But in reality, I was just poking fun at the post, and nothing more. But, keep fighting the good fight and doing PR work for the Roadrunners.

Huh? Lamar is a respected college and UofH is not? GTFOH

I went to UTSA and what your saying is completely wrong. UofH is better.

    Do students get discounted tickets?

I just transferred from HCC this semester and haven't really attended a UofH game, ever.

UH students get in for free with their Cougar Card. You can buy 2 guest tickets at a discounted price though.

Or just wait for every UT and A&M grad on the planet too swoop in and take the three or four decent non-military jobs in SA.
