Obviously at stores everywhere but I'd like to know where our resident CF fashion gurus buy quality belts from? I've bought a fair share from Marshalls/TJMaxx/Kohls, etc and even if brand names, in a matter of months they start getting frayed and just messed up. Now friends I have that have no qualms spending a bit of money on a belt say they prefer Bachrach for quality belts but at a high price. Where do you all get quality belts(that don't get frayed or worn out after a few months) at a reasonable price? Thx
I bought a belt from these guys after watching an episode of Shark Tank. http://missionbelt.com/ No holes, totally adjustable. And it's lasted (so far) longer than any of my other belts. It's pretty awesome.
Funny you should ask, because I just went through this. I had a particularly bad belt that pretty immediately was falling apart -- specifically, the top layer was peeling. So, I read about good belts. Most store belts are genuine leather, with genuine meaning it's essentially fake. They glue and stitch many pieces of leather together. On the other end of the spectrum, is full grain leather, which is a single strip of leather from the entire depth of the hide. It doesn't peel because it's all one piece, and it doesn't get frayed because bending doesn't cause the stitching to break. So, I bought a belt from Orion Leather Co and I've had it only a month so far. But, it feels like good quality and doing great so far. They'll cost about $50+.
repped! I buy dress belts at Macy's or where ever..but I wear it nearly every day, and they fall apart too quickly.
Reddit belt guide guide to making your own belt alot of people like Narragansett belts, reasonable price and some cool designs, but they are made to order so take time to deliver edit: as JV said, Orion is also popular, but I've never bought from them
I buy allen edmonds belts because they are cheap, USA, locally available. With leather I like to see the actual item in person before I buy it.
