Dick Bevetta made his NBA debut 1 year before Moses Malone did. http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on...time-nba-referee-dick-bavetta-to-retire-at-74
This. In case anyone's forgotten (the "most disturbing subplot" question): http://proxy.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/020606
Wow, so much hate for Dick Bavetta. Safe to say I like him... I wish him well is his retirement, and only wish that at 74 I can run 94 feet up to 50 times a day.
You still have to deal with skee-head Crawford... And the NbA will continue to have bad officials that rig games, simply because it a a business and it's all about business
Because David Stern hatchet men who sway playoff games are awesome. Crawford has made more and more bad calls. He's gone senile, and he should retire. That said, I still respect him because he doesn't play favorites and I've never perceived him as intentionally influencing playoff games.
