As further bball fan, mental exercise; let's rank them so far... Out of: Aguirre Drexler Rasheed Gasol place them 1 to 4. I'm going to say: Rasheed--I don't think Detroit wins without Rasheed Aguirre--Dantley maybe does it on a second try, but Aquirre proved it..TWICE Gasol--As Spacemoth say, that two chips don't happen without Gasol. The only knock in this list is it didn't happen same year as trade. So, slower ROI but bigger than others except Aquirre. Drexler--Drexler last is just me saying Hakeem and Thorpe and Mad Max would have jelled and repeated...maybe. Dream was En Fuego

He was only important because Nelson got injured towards the end of the season. Nelson was an all-star that season.

That's a great one. And also very underrated. I think most Rockets & Magic fans would pick this up, but not many other fans. Jordan couldn't get it done in '95 without a player like Rodman, and we ended up with the title (everyone says Jordan was retired and that's why we won, but not true).
Not sure what you are saying. Rodman was on the Spurs in '95, who many thought would win the title. Rodman was useless against the Rockets, because the most underrated coach in NBA history, Rudy Tomjanovich, moved Horry to PF, which moved Rodman away from defensive rebounding. This is not a theory. This was proven in '95 against the Spurs, who had Rodman. Rudy Tomjanovich proved Rodman is not affective against stretch 4s like Horry. He was highly affective against Kemp and Malone, though.
