Harden, Parsons patch things up in Vegas after some miscommunication

LAS VEGAS -- The back and forth exchanges between Houston Rockets guard James Harden and newly-minted Dallas Mavericks forward Chandler Parson has ended.

Thanks to TEAM USA for bringing them together in Las Vegas for training camp, Parsons said he and Harden found time in between time to chat and patch things up.

“We’ve been in the casinos together and everything,” Parsons said to CSNNW.com. “We talked about it and it’s in the past. We’ve been hanging out, talking. We played on the same team a few times here, which was cool to get back out there with him. There are no hard feelings.”

Harden insists that his initial comments about himself and Dwight Howard being the cornerstones and the others are just “role players,” was taken out of context by the media.

“There was never really any back and forth,” Harden told CSNNW.com. “I never said anything about Chandler. Chandler is in Dallas right now. I was just talking about my teammates. No matter what, if the Rockets are playing good, Dwight and James get the praise. If we’re doing bad, Dwight and James gets the bulk of criticism. The media, I guess, took another story and ran with it. Chandler and me are cool. We’re good.”

That’s good news being that they formed such a tight friendship in their two years of playing together in Houston. Upon first learning of Harden’s statement, Parsons responded quickly on the airways declaring that it was a “pretty ridiculous statement.”

Now the two friends can look back and laugh, knowing how things can get misconstrued when not speaking directly to one another.

“That was blown out of proportion a little bit,” Parsons said. “No matter where I play, no matter where he plays, he’s one of my friends. I know he didn’t mean anything malicious or anything like that in his comments. So, we’re cool.”

But when it’s time for the Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets to lock horns, their friendship will be thrown out the window during that 48-minute window. Parsons going to Dallas will only intensify the longtime instate rivalry with Houston, and the forward can’t wait for that date.

“It has always been a rivalry from the jump but I think with me going over there it’s definitely going to be a little more intense,” Parsons said. “I’m going to want to play well against them and they’re going to want to stop me from playing well against them. Those guys are my friends and I love them to death but when that ball goes up, it’s on.”

Oh and I never knew big booty strip clubs are now called casinos.

Chandler, you're going down! I can't ****ing wait for the season to start. I am more excited about this years Rockets team than the Texans.

So basically, Harden wasn't even talking about Parsons but Parsons got butthurt for no reason.

Bieber is trying really hard to do damage control for his image right now.

Never have I seen a role player actually challenging a team led by two super stars..... Parsons had to add that last part about it being on once its ball time... As if he is actually letting Harden and The Rockets know that he loves them but he is gonna have to beat them..... Pshhh, stfu please..... Hopefully Ariza shuts down the best forward ever...
