Unrestricted free agent Ray Allen is talking with the Cavaliers and Rockets while continuing to contemplate retirement.
Allen is still undecided on whether he wants to return for another NBA season, or retire after 18 years in the NBA. He has reportedly been in talks with both the Rockets and Cavaliers, but is yet to speak with his former team. "We knew that he wanted to take some time and be patient to see where he is," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. "We'll see what happens." Whether he chooses to play next season or retire, Allen will go down as the greatest three-point shooter in the history of the NBA.

I don't see him coming here. To be honest, wouldn't it be better to just play Daniels instead since we already have him? I'd rather get some depth in the frontcourt and at the PG spot.

Him and Miller were bound for the Cavs the second lbj went there. There's really no other reason to list any other teams.

I've always liked Ray Allen's game. He's a dead eye shooter and has won 3 championships. Would be a great vet presence on the bench and maybe be some positive influence on Harden.

While he's a long shot, I'm glad we're at least talking with him.

Once again, Rockets being used as leverage in order to secure favorable contract with [insert desired team of choice].

    Nothing to see here.

I am NOT getting my hopes up for this. Just go to Cleveland and stop toying with our hearts, Ray.

It'll take too much money from the Rockets to get him here.
