K.J. McDaniels is EXACTLY what this team needs.

Strengths:
-Great defensive potential
-Great rebounder for his position
-Great athlete
-Balanced scorer, can post up smaller wings, very good first step and great finishing ability
-Good 3 point shooter
-Very good on catch and shoot situations from 3(41%)
-Good jumpshot mechanics, very quick release
-An actual rim protector as a SF
-Good defensive instincts and awareness, boxes out conistently and frequently
-Great offense rebounder. Made 10% of his points on putbacks


Weaknesses:
-Average BBall IQ
-Can be a chucker, which hurts his percentages
-Terrible shot selection
-Inconsistent shooter, but can be worked out of his game as he develops
-Below average guard skills for a wing
-Can get lost off the ball on defense
-Can have off ball lapses offensively, and stands around


Overall, he can be a Courtney Lee for this team at worst. Has some Gerald Green(Pre-PHX Suns) in him which can be scary. But he also has alot of PHX Suns Gerald Green in him and the defensive potential is just too high for us to pass on him. I'd be ecstatic if he dropped to #25 and we got him.
