I'm a little b**** and I can't handle drinking any hard liquor straight. How many real men are on Clutchfans?
I usually mix my whiskey with mineral water, those so called men drinking straight are usually the ones to be passed out and out for the count first. Me i like to enjoy my night
Pssshhh.. Not a 'real man' because you mix your liquors? If said that to somebody drinking an Old Fashioned, they'd probably give you the death stare like that one queer as looking guy in the tequila commercials (the one that's supposed to be more manly than the guys drinking cosmos and ****). I enjoy a good Long Island Iced Tea, myself, when I decide to opt to drink liquor. Of course, I also enjoy a good bourbon or scotch with a nice chunk of ice watering it down a bit and releasing the good aromas.
Why dilute perfectly good booze with some other non-alcoholic liquid? I take my Crown straight.....no rocks, no water.
I've trained myself to drink the cheap stuff, and to drink it straight. It's a lot less common than I thought it would be. I'll admit that I was kind of tricked into thinking that "manly men" drink straight liquor without anything to mix, so I tried to emulate that ideal. I was successful, but sometimes I feel like a dope when I'm choking down some 10 dollar brandy and everyone else has got popsicle drinks.
I don't drink soda mixers because of the sugar, but I don't mind a gin and tonic or vodka water from time to time. But generally if it's not worth drinking neat or straight up, I tend to avoid it.
You people are manly men. I can't drink alcohol straight unless they are quick one-downer shots. I'll never be like that badass in the 1800 Tequila commercial. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/MS-JJF3GcMc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> You guys are like Ray Liotta in this ad. I'm the metrosexual goatee b**** looking through the cocktail menu.
Depends on the drink, if you're taking vodka shots all the time I would consider you an idiot. I drink Jack & honey alone, Fireball, Jager with a smidge of beer, shots of 1800 on rare occasions.
