I know there's a ps4 thread already that i made 5 months ago, but that was all of the speculation leading up to the ps4, in addition to the recent announcements. Now that the PS4 is about 5 hours away from officially launching, I figured it may be best to make a separate thread for the launch of the PS4. Here you can discuss anything related to the PS4. *Be aware, some people on reddit, twitter, etc, are reporting faulty PS4's. It may just be best to wait it out. I personally will still be getting it day one, but for those who have been on the fence on whether or not they wanted it on day one, you may not want one anymore after hearing about this.
If you guys don't think this thread is necessary, then ignore this thread and just continue to post on the old ps4 thread. Your call...
I think it is fine to have this thread. As you said, that thread was good for all the news and stuff, but we can put our own impressions here, plus any other kind of launch stuff (e.g., which stores have systems in stock). Reposting what I posted in the other thread:
Okay cool. Anyone going to midnight launch? Unfortunately my Amazon pre order likely won't get here until 5 pm tomorrow, since thats the time UPS usually arrives at my neighborhood.
LOL @ all the folks who ordered Knack based on limited demo. Score of 4 at gamespot. This game gets really boring after a short time because of repetitiveness.
LOL @ those who paid $60 for it, its not even worth $40. And it will be on PS+ for free within a year.

Yep. I've seen some mixed impressions about what the problems actually are (and it is kind of difficult to see from some videos), so I'm curious to see for myself what it's like. The voice acting and story definitely seem meh though. I don't really get the casting for Knack's voice actor.
My wife's Just Dance came in today. I have Killzone coming with the console. The problem is the games I want to play most (NBA 2K14 and Lego Marvel Super Heroes) haven't even shipped. I might have to cancel my order with Amazon... damn shame since I got a game free. Their customer service guaranteed I'd get it launch day. I'm starting to doubt that.
1) Go to Gamestop 2) Buy the discounted / free game you got from Amazon 3) HOLD ONTO THE RECEIPT 4) Once your Amazon copy arrives, return that one to Gamestopfor a full refund. That's what I'm doing. It doesn't have to be from Gamestop by the way.
Good point...I didn't even think of doing it. I feel a lot better about my gaming possibilities tomorrow now, haha. Thank you. I just want to play some next gen 2K dammit! I'm also really excited about playing Marvel with my wife though.
