The White Community

I am appalled that there is a community for Royce White.

 

What?

 

It makes me want to ask, why isn't there a leader in the white community stepping up and trying to do something about all the white on white crime? 84% of white murder victims are killed by white people.

Whites commit the majority of crime in this country, from murder, assault, rape, robbery, theft, fraud, embezzlement, etc, etc, and the list goes on. Isn't it time somebody in the white community stood up and said something?

honest question: did you come up with this, or were you inspired by something you saw on another site?

Either way, 2nd honest question: what is your point in this thread? It would seem that you're trying to make some point about race relations.

 

I would also like an option for "None of the above."

Yes! seriously make that happen. Renaming it T&D would clear up so much confusion in this subforum.

Like any black person who never lived, learned, worshiped or worked in predominately minority environments, it seems both superfluous and self-deprecating. The tax for having the majority acknowledge and recompense your being historically marginalized and disenfranchised is to relinquish any sense of relevance or prominence in your resident society. If you were busy picking cotton, you probably can't take credit for the cotton gin. White community, for all intents and purposes, is the community.

Now as someone who got called oreo everyday of junior high by my white classmates because I was the only black in the honors program; had my co-workers tease me about "rims" and "spinners" every time I got a new car, or had a manager ask me if I "popped and locked" when I got home at night; well, giddy, you just sound like a prick.

 

At the risk of a somewhat serious reply to a giddyup post, it depends on which white community we're talking about...
