    • AB or Lowry?
    • Lowry or AB?
    • Ish Smith???
    • Lowry or Dragic?
    • Dragic or Lowry?
    • Lin or Beverley?
The endless debate continues... An injury always causes the swap to happen, a new player enters, and the debate begins all over again.

But somewhere in the back of the room there's always this one group who suggests that the sum of the duo is >. If Lin and Beverley are the two options that this team has entering the season, the Rockets are are just fine at the PG position. Regardless of who starts.

Lin, though inconsistent, has the ability on any given night to be that 3rd star that everyone in clamoring about. I wouldn't ever bet on him doing it at any specific time. But you know that several times of year, he's going to show up in a big way. Beverley brings defence, toughness and grit, and is more consistent. They're different players, that IMO, compliment each other well.

It’s just like the old saying about QBs: “If you have to starting QBs, you don’t have one.” Except that when it comes to basketball, that whole tandem thing works out a helluva lot better than in football.

Chandler Parsons has proven to be an option as the 3rd star on any given night.

Lin is a good PG but doesn't fit well with the starters, if he would be willing to come off the bench that would make it a lot easier to keep the flow of the offense and defense going from our first to our second unit.

We'll see if that becomes an option or not.

So you're saying that it's not like that old saying at all...

Not sure the disparity in pay has ever been this sizable though.

Nope, it's the same. It's just not as big of a deal when comes to basketball, especially when it comes to some of the other pieces on this team.

The correct answer is Canaan. I have researched him thoroughly* and think he is the best fit.

Steve Francis starting was never in question. Lock this thread or delete it and never think about it again.

I think at some point it's gonna be Canaan. Highly doubtful this year, but the next year it's possible.

The main conclusion you can get out of all this is Morey can pull quality PG's out of his ass. There is no point in getting attached to any of them.

The curse of the houston starting PG continues. If history stands, then Beverley will be starting eventually.
