The only way this becomes compelling is if Rose announces he's playing.

I like this thread better. :)

Can Hinrich and Deng come back for any games in the series?

I honestly think the Bulls can take 2 games from the Heat. If Rose decides his "muscle memory" returns, Bulls can make it an even better series.

He'd probably screw up their chemistry at this point. Thibs is such a good coach, I think the Bulls will be competitive even though on paper they have no chance.

    I say Heat in 5.

One team is too depleted and already has scoring problems against the other who's the best team in the NBA with the most talent and the best player in the game. Should be a short, quick seres.

Like the crew on Inside the NBA said, he probably won't screw with the chemistry. Robinson needs the ball in his hands to be effective, much like Rose. Also, Rose won't take as many jumpers as Nate, imo.

If the doctors have cleared Rose, I see no reason for Rose not to come back.

still can't believe Chicago won the series. Amazing performance by a utterly depleted team, heck of a coaching job

This looks like the worst conference semis in a while.

The Heat will crush the Bulls.
I don't care about the Pacers beating the Knicks (a team we dominated).

I've never liked the Spurs, but they should have no problem beating the Warriors.
The Grizzlies vs OKC is probably the only decent matchup, but without Westbrook it's just not as interesting. I think OKC will still win it.

what's wrong with screwing up chemistry? The Bulls have 0% chance of winning this series, and are likely to get swept without Rose. At least with Rose, they have a chance to win by catching the Heat off guard.

I said Bulls in 4 thinking no one else would vote that. The reality is the Bulls have almost no chance of beating the Heat unless Lebron gets hurt. With that said they play with more heart than any team in the NBA and Thibodeau gets more out of his team than any coach in the league. Hard not to root for them.

Heat in 5, unless Rose makes a comeback.

Miami will not let Chicago outwork them after seeing how far that hard work got Chicago.

Everyone but Kenny said he would mess up the chemistry lol.

But he should come back if he can. It doesn't matter if he'll ruin the chemistry, they have no chance without Rose. Take the risk.

I think all the games will be competitive, but the series won't be. Heat in 5.

I don't know why so many people think Rose coming back would make a significant difference. The Heat beat the Bulls in five two years ago with a healthy Rose, and that Miami team was not nearly as good.

I think Derrick Rose would get crucified if he suddenly came back to play in this series. Derrick Rose just needs to say I'm done no matter what.
