He will be taken out if he misses his first couple of shots. Even if shooting like crap, Harden can shoot as many as he want to put up 20+. McFail is stupid and myopic. U need to help your starters build up confidence and consistency, which is more important than a win or two. U need to be patient to let them heat up.
This totally hasn't been brought up enough. Please OP...tell me more about how Mchale has it out for Lin.
I think tonight Lin should have gotten more time for sure tonight against the pacers, but i understand him being benched in past decisions. Nothing about mchale having it out against Lin, just doesnt let Lin play through mistakes.
Beverley came into the game and got stops defensively and scored. Lin didn't. Beverley plays. You seriously don't see the difference between trusting a top 5 scorer in the game and trusting a first year starter who can't string together more than 3 great scoring performances in a row?
I haven't watched the game, but it looks like George Hill is 0 for 9. I would assume that means he wasn't scoring on Lin. Who was scoring on Lin?
OP, you bring such original threads to the GARM. Please, keep going, I'm sooooooooooooo interested...
I agree with you there...just think its wrong how Lin doesnt get to play through the 4th when hes struggling some games, while back up bench gets to finish the game. Be it TD or Pbev. If lin starts out playing great, then he gets to stay in. the minute he struggles, hes done even though hes stepped up in the 4th in the past games. Some games he still plays awful, but its like they dont even give him a chance anymore.
I remembered the 1st match of Linsanity against Nets, which Lin missed around 6 or 7 shot consecutively, but M.D Anthony keep trusting Lin and Lin repay the trust in the 4th. Surely trust is crucial.
If he'd go to the basket and try to draw fouls like Harden when his shot isn't falling maybe he'd get more playing time. I support McHale for benching him when he doesn't bring anything to the table and hurts the team.
I read the title and knew that Lin's struggles would in no way be his fault. At least be more creative with these idiotic threads. And quit comparing Lin to Harden. It's not fair to Lin.
Dumb jock decides to put him in with 4 minutes left down 10. After the game, he will blame it on him. Same story, different game.
