Some individual highlights from the Rockets 125-112 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on 1/8/2013.

Jeremy Lin is too fast for Metta World Peace, going past him for the bucket and foul

My favourite part of the first video is the way the whole team ran over to cheer on Jeremy when he was on the floor.

Especially chandler with that triple hi-5 hahaha.

So great to see this young team being happy.

    This x 1000!

We just need more Robert Sacre and the championship trophy is ours. :)

No Gasol/D Howard= horrible spacing and opens up the paint to the basket which allows one of the best backcourts in the nba to penetrate and thrive on buckets with an additional foul in-between....

In the Harden dunk video, was that some kind of sumo stance after the dunk? Would've looked great if he had tapped the floor with his fists.

Harden is an elite passer in the PnR. He's more patient than Jeremy is and can thread those passes to the cutter because he waits for double team and finds the open lane for the pass.
Jeremy on the other hand often times has to jump and lob it up high and on the roll in congested traffic to stone hands Asik. He has to learn how to mix up his passes more to lessen his TOs

Two things here make Harden more effective at times: Harden attracts more defenders and Lin is going full tilt into the lane.

Harden had collided with Sacre right at the dunk. I thought he "man" it out by doing that "sumo" stance. He is strong for sure. :)

Fun game to watch. Fun *team* to watch. The big key is the number of times the Rockets take it to the hole. Too often teams rely to heavily on the three (past Rocket teams... and the lakers last night). When teams go to the hole it opens up the three for players (even when the known outside shooter is hanging at the 3 line... look how often Delthreeno was wide open, or PPat when he was in). James Harden and Jeremy Lin do this... and Chandler Parsons was doing this last night.

The Rockets announcers are picking up on this change and it is showing in their energy reporting on the team. Heck, Bullard's "five hole" and Drexler's "yahtzee" comments are on the mark (and Drexler has definitely improved... loved his advice to Sacre... "if you come late you might as well stay away or you will be part of the highlight film"). When Drexler's harshest criticism is about Lin's failure to protect himself on falls, you know things are going well.

Delfino's facial expressions are hilarious. He's in constant shock about what's going on.....even if he's the one doing it.
