Finished getting all these up, but the Lin thread has a life of its own, so here are the other interviews after the win over the Boston Celtics on 12/14/2012.

Clutch, thanks so much for these. You really gotta like the character of our young team. These are quality guys.

Love how Parsons basically said there's no reason he shouldn't be able to get 9 boards a game.

A lot of upside here with the youth.

What he didn't say was ... because Patterson isn't going to steal my rebounds any time soon.

I really, really don't want to turn this into another Lin, thread. But look at what the journalist and Chandler both said about the last five minutes being the most meaningful, and that they're experiences from bad "last five minutes" in past games is teaching them the skills so that that they're doing better in "last five minutes" of recent games. These are the crunch time learning situations that Lin is not being afforded and it's hurting his development, and by extension hurting the team's development of a Harden-Lin backcourt of the future.

It's not about putting one player above the team, but keeping the team's longterm interest in mind. Damaging Lin's development also damages the prospect of a Harden-Lin backcourt of the future. So unless Lin is really meant to be shipped out and not part of that future vision of the coaches, it's hurting the entire team's long term prospects. Any "team only fan" should see this.

The comments from Chandler and the journalist both acknowledge and illustrate the importance of those last five minutes, as well as their growth in learning from past "last five minutes" to get better "last five minutes" in recent games. It's a shame that Lin is missing out on these learning experiences and this growth.

Greg Smith talks fast, lol. You can tell he's excited just to be out there, love his potential. He's going to be a big time player sometime soon.
