Thunder Unveiling New Alternate Uniforms on Friday

Hate away, but I like the retro look.

 

Looks better than their current jerseys.

The back looks nice, the front not so much....the problem with retro looks is that the sizes and fit aren't retro. Designs like these don't look good baggy.

 

retro to what? early 90s junior high? vertical fonts suck.

should have done a Thunder cursive type script... ala 80s chicago bulls.

 

This is the color combination that the Nets should have gone with.

 

They're like 5 yrs old. Why are they going retro?

 

Who came up with the idea of writing Thunder vertically must have his head bashed in Seriously though, I like it except for that part. With the whole thunder concept, why not have some lightning flash across the chest? Something like the late 90s Warriors had.

 

None of those players look like they're enjoying being in those unis.

I can see they got their inspiration from the Kansas City uniforms way back when with the vertical wordmark. We'll see how they look in action. I hoped they'd go for an orange alt.

Lighting on the chest? So they can match their sister team the Tulsa Shock? No.

I like it except for the font, which sucks.

 

I actually like these.

I like the simplicity and the color blocking. Reminds me of the Celtics and Nets Jerseys, Green and White. Black and White. That being said, Rockets should do something like this. Only two colors; Away Red and White, Home White and Red.

 

Well it made me think of these right away...


I actually don't mind them, though it's probably just because their current jerseys are the most generic looking piece of blandness out there right now... Still, these don't seem to fit their image and color scheme at all...
