    I know many of you have been opposed to tanking but considering the state of this team what do you guys think? Time to officially rebuild/tank and let the rookies play or play vets do well and get the 8th seed?

    I know it sounds ridiculous but cmon man.......even if by some miracle we were able to make the playoffs we would not advance. Time to deal in reality.

    We either suck and get a high pick or we somehow make the playoffs and get obliterated.

    This team at its best cannot make the playoffs. Personally, I'd like to see our young guys get lots of minutes, that's all. If that means a worse record, then so be it.

    This is asked EVERY YEAR and it is a poorly constructed scenario and a loaded question.

    The definition of tanking is not intentionally losing games. It is putting out the youngest / highest upside team possible with no regard for how many games you win/lose. Tanking teams still have veterans to teach the rookies and to use as trade pieces. We've done plenty of veteran jettisoning, anyways.

    Our roster (one of the youngest in the NBA) has 29% returning minutes from last season. Not only is that the lowest (by a good amount) out of the 30 rosters but it is almost unprecedented in NBA history.

    This team winning games is a good sign that they are developing and progressing. Whoever is planning to complain about winning games might become the first person my ignore list.

    I don't own the team, I'm a fan; if I watch the Rockets play the Lakers/Heat/Spurs/Mavs/Jazz/Thunder/Celtics/Clippers you bet I want the Rockets to win with zero apologies.

    Its simple, you play the young guys. If you do this then no result is a disappointment. Win 13 games? Congrats, you get the #1 pick. Make the playoffs? Then we have a star already on the roster and a young cornerstone to build around.

    The only way we can lose is giving multiple vets significant rotation minutes. Gotta get rid of Martin or Delfino
