    What an idiot.

It must be because of Yao Ming, right? He's Chinese (not Taiwanese), too! Right? Right?! WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE? It couldn't possibly be that the Rockets' offer was far higher than anyone else's and that the Knicks didn't (but could've) matched. It couldn't possibly be that the Knicks never gave him an offer on their own (though it couldn't have been as high). No, it must be that Asian connection.

    CLEARLY.

"Yao Ming still works for the Houston Rockets organization."

"...and they're friends too. Hey, that's the way it works. You gotta use your advantages that you have."

    Spike Lee is a joke!

Lmao at Spike. You remember when Spike tweeted the address of George Zimmerman, but it turned out to be the address of some elderly couple and they received death threats. Let's not take anything he does and says seriously.

How do you feel about them letting Jeremy Lin go?

He did what he wanted to do. If he wanted to stay in NY, it could have happened but he didn't want to stay. The whole story hasn't come out, but when it does, you know who will be a big factor? Yao Ming. Yao Ming still works for the Houston Rockets organization and the Rockets had a huge following in China. That's back now. And they're friends too. That's the way it works. You gotta use your advantages you have.

    Haha wow.

Let's not blame Mr. Dolan, who had the right to keep him. Not as if Lin was an UFA.

Let's not blame Carmelo and J.R. Smith, who decided to open/run their mouths.

He could have stayed if Dolan had matched.

He could have stayed if the Knicks had negotiated with him at the start of FA as opposed to putting another team in the drivers seat.

Didn't the Knicks amnesty Chauncey to get Tyson Chandler? Afterwards, fans were saying its just business don't be mad Chauncey. But when somebody else plays them, there fans get butt hurt and start crying.

I think the Knicks tried to do what the Cavs did to Sasha Pavlovic in 2007. He was a RFA and the Cavs wouldn't negotiate with him. They told him to go out and get a offer sheet from another team, while telling everyone they would match. No team negotiated with him and he had to go back to the Cavs. The Cavs signed him to a contract significantly lower than what he would have gotten in the market. Morey wanted him bad enough and he called the Knicks bluff. Don't hate the player hate the game.

Spike can go to hell. He was the biggest Lin homer and now he's just making stuff up about the Lin situation. Does this guy even follow bball the way that he claims??? NY didn't make an offer because Lin wasn't a priority to them, they told him to test the market. He did, and now they're saying it's because he didn't want to stay in NY? GTFO.

Uhmm...i don't think Yao is on the Houston payroll as an employee. Where do people get this stuff? Lin also said at his press conference that the only communication he and Yao had were congratulatory texts, and that they'd communicate more about the city of Houston once Lin got settled.

The asian market thing is overblown.

    Conspiracy Theory Alert

We know how much buzz the name Jeremy Lin creates right? I mean bleacher report cannot stop their "contributors" from writing anything with the name Jeremy Lin on it or using his picture when the article doesn't have anything to do with him. It generates hits on their article.

I'm thinking it's the same with Spike Lee. He has a new movie coming out and he is promoting it. He cannot stop attaching himself to the Lin name otherwise he doesn't make a splash. They ask him about Lin in the end of interviews, which means you have to sit and listen through whatever first before you get to the Lin part.

Moreover, I think he gets his courtside tickets for free. So much like a mascot or puppet, he is a staple at MSG. He needs to be in Dolan's good graces so he spews out more lies. "He did what he wanted to do. You gotta use your advantages you have." How misinformed can you be? He talks about Yao and Lin like he was witness to it all. He has no regards for the truth. So while he is formulating his own conspiracy theory, dragging Yao's name into this, I've got one for him too.

Sorry for the incoherent rant, just super annoyed with this guy the past few days. This is the 2nd video I've come across of him drawing Lin's name with baseless accusations. Now, Yao's too?!!! Ugh!
