Can a Courtney Lee S&T come close to the Camby Deal?

I'm amazed Morey was able to pry two 2nd rd picks away from the Knicks for Camby and land us a pg that was paid for and maybe a back up C.

What I wonder now is if Courtney Lee will be able to get us a deal that can rival what Camby brought in. What do you guys think? I think he could get us a late 1st rd pick. Hell, Buddinger got us a pretty good pick.

Depends on the market interest in Lee and where Lee decides to go.

If Lee decides to go to, say, the Mavs or another team with cap room, there would likely be no need for a S&T. However if Lee prefer a team without cap room (like the Celtics, likely because such a team is willing to offer him the most if a S&T can be worked out), then the Rockets would have the ability to pull off something similar to what they got for Camby.

well we got nothing for dragic, so don't get your hopes up. the only reason we got anything for camby is because he wanted to sign with a team that couldn't afford to sign him.

consider the cap space saved by NOT resigning lee as one of the reasons for letting him go. so in essence, we already got something for him (more cap flexibility). but of course i hope we can land a future pick for him, i just dont think its likely or even that necessary.

Apparently there are 8 teams interested in lee. Including Boston, bulls, and pacers

I think his value is anywhere between pick 12-18. I'd be disappointed if we got anything less than that for him.
