http://www.cbssports.com/nba/blog/ke...-camby-as-bait

"The Houston Rockets continue to push hard to acquire draft picks and cap space in an effort to provide a package of assets that will entice the Orlando Magic to trade Dwight Howard, league sources told CBSSports.com Saturday.

One of the reasons Houston traded point guard Kyle Lowry to Toronto for what essentially is a guaranteed lottery pick was to sweeten the pot in a potential Howard trade, sources said. In discussions with the Knicks, Heat and now Nets about a sign-and-trade for Marcus Camby, the Rockets are hoping to accumulate more picks to make their trade package for Howard more attractive."

Didnt see it posted / didnt look super hard - lock if posted.

dwight leaves and we will be stuck with contracts of richardson or Hedo. If orlando doesnt want what rockets have we will be stuck without a PG or starting center

I just want to come on the GARM and see whether Dwight gets traded to Houston or elsewhere. The wait is killing me

No, you can only amnesty a player that was on your team when the CBA was signed. If you have acquired the player since the first day of this past season's business, you can't amnesty them.

We can only amnesty Martin or Scola. Edit: Patterson too.

Not news.

For those who claim that Jeremy Lin is not a superstar: in the games where Lin was the primary option on his team, he has averaged 24 points and 9 assists per game, and his teams have gone 10-4.

Geez, fans on here are tough to please.

It's a disaster when we can't land Howard, and it's a disaster if we do land Howard.

Honestly how much do they want... He's leaving them and our offer is better than all other teams besides lakers. And no matter how many picks we have: Bynum > Our package. Just stick to what we have and quit gutting the team even more.

Why are they doing this? He does not want to play here. He will be here one year and then he will be gone. All of the assets that the Rockets will have expended will be used up for that one year, which will amount to nothing.

This is foolishness.

Morey is working overtime to give Orlando the farm for a 1 yr rental. You don't give up that much for a player without a commitment. Dwight will end up leaving while the Rockets are stuck with bad contracts and the Magic will be sitting back laughing with all of our draft picks and high upside players.
