So we essentially traded Chase Budinger for Terrence Jones. Who would you rather have?

it doesn't really matter, is the depressing, yet correct answer.

Terrence Jones. More upside, more physical small forward who should be able to be a solid rotation player from the git go.

Terrence Jones will have a more successful NBA career IMO. Not sure how Sullinger's game will translate to the NBA since he's stuck to the floor, especially now with the back concerns.

Just a guest, but maybe we didn't want to have the only 2 PFs in the league that are incapable of dunking (Scola and Sully)?

Terrence Jones, just because I don't think Budinger was in the Rockets' long-term plans... so why even have him here?

T. Jones was a great addition and my favorite. If we keep him a lot of people who don't like the pick are going to be eating crow and if he doesn't work out then I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong, but highly unlikely!

Chase is a specialist... shooter and occasionally driving the lane. Jones can do that... maybe not as good from the three, but he's a better driver, better defender and at least as good if not better passer.

Who do you suggest I'd rather keep?

I dont know right now. I think the odd selection of him and Royce White back to back may turn into something through an odd round about way. We already established what Patterson can do. So maybe him or Royce White are better? Then we can ship the loser of this PF competition out. It turns out we may end up with a younger better guy at Pf and Lamb may be an upgrade over Kevin Martin. You never know. The draft is a tricky thing when you have so many picks.

CBud was a deep threat from the outside, who is that now for the Rockets from that position. Parsons is not consistent from the three point line. Jones is just another undersized power forward with Morris and Patterson, a virtual ritual of Morey's picks every year.
Royce could turn out to be a better version of Eddie Griffin, although I hope he overcomes his health problems and become a really good NBA player.
Overall, unless Morey finds a decent center through trades or the FA, the Rockets are still on the treadmill. I am not optimistic at all that the Rockets would significantly improve after this so so draft by Morey. Time for a change of direction from top to bottom.
