At times during the season, we have been hearing good things about D-Mo overseas. He has been scoring and rebounding well as the season progressed. Now, don't get me wrong. I like D-Mo and all, but whose to say all of that will translate to the NBA.
I was thinking, just for discussion, how bad do you all(Morey) really want that #2 or #3 pick? Enough to add D-Mo in a package deal?
    This should be interesting.:)

Come on down Donatas Motiejunas!! You, too, can be an asset.

I hope not. Out of everyone on this current team....he has the most potential. Atleast see what he can do first.

Only for Dwight, that's pretty much it.

I'd rather trade him for the #2 pick than Dwight.

At least the #2 pick could be a player we could build around....Dwight might bolt ASAP.

"You don't trade a big for a small!" If D-Mo were in this year's draft, He'd be the #2 pick. He's more suited as a 4, but on the Rockets, he & Camby will improve the 5 spot 3x. Should we draft Leonard or Zeller, our front court is set for the future.

What makes you believe he makes a 19 pick jump in the draft over the last year?

D-Mo is largely an unknown commodity still.

No, if McHale can teach Dmo to be ... McHale, you'd have have a future hall of famer. It's a story I really want to watch for a few years.

    Hmm I HIGHLY doubt that.

I would be surprised if he was even a lottery pick in this draft.

    No I wouldn't. I'm not high on this year's top 5.

Each one has significant fault's in their game or lack the physical tools to be something special in this league.

I cannot see D-Mo being traded before he has shown what he can do for a season. He has said and done all the right things over the last year. And other than Davis, I cannot point a finger at any pick and say that player will definitely be better than D-Mo.

He's probably a top 10 pick this year and we are a rebuilding team. Why would we want to trade a 7 foot young, athletic PF who is only going to improve? We need to be adding more guys like D-Mo, not trading them away.

Obviously it depends on the offer, but I'd like to keep what i call the "White Trinity": D-Mo, Dragic, and Parsons

Milwaukee agrees with this strategy! "Tracker Trailer" Robert Taylor was sooo much better than Dirk!

I'm just saying, if there were a chance to flip D-Mo, who was the 20th pick in a weaker draft, for a lottery pick in this years draft, i would. Players who i think will make a bigger impact for this team than D-Mo are, Beal, MKG, Robinson and Lillard.

We're pretty desperate if we're talking about trading our top young prospect before we even see him on an NBA court. Which reminds me, any way we can get Batum back?

If there was a center in the group you mentioned then I might be swayed. But with current roster composition, the players you mentioned would probably all be riding the pine for a year or two.
