Kwame will just dismiss your definition of significant.

But what exactly is significant?

Battier showed up for the Finals, yes, but in the earlier rounds of the playoffs, he was crap.

If you looked at his sig it means 30 min per game...

"AROUND 30 MPG"

It's pretty straightforward.

I'll laugh if he pulls a GlenRice and say...'i meant 38 minutes..he only played 37.5, that's not significant enough'

This thread is totally worth having the heat win the finals. What a tool Kwame was in his Shane hating posts. Glad to see the man earn that ring.

Not at all, I haven't had time to post much due to work and travel, but I probably should have modified my statement when the no-stats scrub joined the super friends in Miami. I just forgot about it, but I did pick the Heat to win the championship, which is why I referred to the no-stats scrub as a ring-chaser.

His under 30 mpg in the regular season not withstanding, if anything, this just shows how great Lebron James is...that he can make scrubs like Norris Cole, Mike "hunchback" Miller, and the no-stats scrub into contributors.

Also, I've been right way more than I've been wrong on this site. At least I'm not afraid to make predictions. The OP, on the other hand, wouldn't even vote in a thread that he or she made until he or she was prodded to do so.

Either way, I'm laughing all the way to the bank, because I made a decent amount of money riding OKC and MIA all the way to the Finals, while people on Clutchfans were talking about the Pacers beating the Heat and crowning the Spurs as the champions. I even picked OKC to win the West and the Heat to win the championship at the very beginning of March. I'll post the betting slips if anybody is interested. Good job, good effort.

Yeah, he really didn't play a significant role. They had that series with or without him.

More like i forgot to place my vote

You can't even give credit where it's due.

Modify your statement? You've also said the Heat would suffer if shane played big minutes, so there's no way to back out of this one.

He didnt play a significant role until the Finals. No the Rockets would still not be that team. Yes it still would have been better to have Rudy Gay right now.

No he was not traded for the 8th pick in Miami
Yes he did not start
No he was not needed as a starter with Lebron there
No he was not the best defender
Yes he was insignificant all the way up till the Finals
Yes he won a championship with 3 stars and not 2 injury prone ones
No it was not him that won that last game for them. Mike Miller played better
Yes he only effected one game to the point they won on him
No series was not that close anyways.

Yes you can claim Battier won a Championship as at best the 6th man or 7th man off the bench. Like we intended and NOT AS A STARTER like here.
