Its pure speculation at this point, but a guy can dream can't he!!!
...you assume they are trading Dalembert + a pick to move up on the draft but they could just as easily be trading the pick for an existing NBA player - maybe even Gasol.

It is the same story, they referenced hoopsworld in it.

According to this tweet by Steve Kyler of HoopsWorld.com, the Rockets may have a deal in the works to trade Samuel Dalembert and "possibly the No. 16 pick" of the draft.

Who the Rockets are dealing with is unclear at this point, so we don't know what will be coming back in return. But this is something we'll continue to monitor, and we'll let you know when we hear more.

The Lakers are one team rumored to be wanting to move into the first round (some have suggested to select Baylor forward Perry Jones III), but he may not be available at No. 16, so it very well could be another team looking to deal with the Rockets.

What our fearless leader said. Hoopsworld is, to put it bluntly, a crap source. They have proven that time and time again, and one of the things that makes this site special, and credible (from the top), is that we don't knowingly allow the use of sources that are consistently a joke.

I agree with the idea, but that last part was good laugh, though.

Source with knowledge of Rockets' strategy says we should slow down on the Dalembert trade talk that was coming from other teams.

Good old rumor posturing competition. One source (likely no the Rockets) leaking that "HOU is SELLING 16th pick + Dalembert!!!" Rockets tell journalist "No, OTHER TEAMS are looking to BUY 16th pick and Dalembert and WE ARE NOT SELLING!"

Happens every time with every trade rumor involving every team.

McHale seems terrible at managing his players. Seems really different to Adelman which, if I recall, only had issues with T-Will and Von Wafer.
McHale seems to have problems with Lowry, Bear, Martin, Morris, etc etc etc. Not the best strategist coach, and not a good "player-coach".

2-I have a feeling we will trade our 16th for "a future first" and a second round pick. Or something like that.
If the Rockets just trade our picks just for the sake of not having too much rookies on the squad, i'll be pissed.

Adelman also had issues with Tracy McGrady.

Wasn't there a Brooks tiff in there somewhere?

Correct.... everyone's got issues....
but the issues with Mchale was kept in the dark before the season....
Reported that Martin, Lowry and maybe others were not happy to see Adelman go and replaced by a rookie coach
During the season it got built up more and a lot frustration came also because of the Front Office and morey's ways to deal with players that are not superstars...
Only thing I noticed...The Front Office was loyal to Yao

So, basically Morey told 610 to bring up Dally this morning, so that he'd have time to do damage control before rumors leaked out...

Other than Lowry, who else has ever come out and said anything about McHale in a negative manner? I challenge you to find quotes from all 4 of these guys... QUOTES ... that do not come from Hoopsworld, the one person out there with a media pass who has openly admitted that he is a disgruntled former Rockets fan and has openly professed his distain for Morey.

FYI, Martin's issues were with the trade that got vetoed because.... his exact quote.... "Daryl showed his hand." Not sure what McHale had to do with that one.

Ignore the smere campaign and make up your own mind please people.
