One of the videos shows him being asked about the flying thing. He describes having caught a handful of flights in the past few days. I think he made a distinction between flying with teammates (familiar people) and just climbing on board a commercial airliner by himself so I would assume that he has an entourage traveling with him to these workouts.

Please dear god NO!!

He's an undersized 4, with slow lateral movement and intense anxiety issues. Not to mention he's a Boris Diaw clone, not the guy the Rockets need.

Would much rather go after Terrence Ross and Arnett Moultrie or trade down for Melo, Wroten or Fournier. If Zeller and Leonard are off the board.

So if we draft this guy we're basically giving up on Morris?

Rox need best player available. IMO Royce White has a ton of talent and with a lot big men out of college his shot will improve. Actually has handles so could be a nightmare against fours and can overpower threes. I would be happy about this pick. Need some freaking athletes

I like his game. We should be able to trade down and get him. But since this thread exists, most likely we are not going to draft him.

Seriously, when was the last time Maurray really drafted a guy they showed interest "reportedly"?

Well since according the Clutchfans, the Rockets have an owner similar to Rachel Phelps in the movie Major League. Royce White will have a nervous breakdown on that team plane with his fear of flying in that heap of a plane.

-I would take him just for the John Lennon beard reference he made during his interview at the draft combine. That alone is worth drafting him twice with the 14th and 16th picks.

This guy seems like a very smart/ interesting guy but with dose of crazy. should be a very entertaining player if the Rockets take him.

IMO, he is someone that if his head is right you might be surprised that he might actually beat out some of the Rockets rotation players in training camp. Patrick Patterson's minutes aren't a guaranteed thing. He's more NBA ready than you would think.

It's crazy how similar lebron and Royce white are in measurements ...sane size and weight and basically same wingspan ...anyone know the other measurables like Max vertical are for white?

I believe lebrons is 44"

no idea who the source is, but I really like Royce White. A good coach will find a way to exploit his many strengths in the NBA.

...so we shouldn't draft him

kidding; i'll give MacHale another year.

White isn't the type of player who will rely on his athleticism at the end of the day. There really is no point in comparing the athleticism of guys on Lebron's level to White. Very unjust.
