But your brother, The Fremont Troll, lives in Seattle. I thought you'd understand.

Does anybody else find this posters username to be ironic?

He's super p.o.'d that the St. Louis Cardinals football team moved to Arizona....but has the name of the (formerly) Los Angeles Rams in his name.

Apparently, he hates the Cards but loves hypocrisy.

Now as a Seattle resident, I probably root against the Thieves more than any other team in the NBA (kind of in a tie with the Lakers, Heat, and Jazz). I'm lucky that I'm a Rocket fan, and it's just city pride. I didn't have my favorite team lured away from home base. I know so many people here that have given up on basketball. Taking potshots at OKC, Bennett, and Schultz is a fun local pastime.

This is such a depressing Finals for me. The Legion of Doom against the OKC Thieves

Totally understand where you're coming from Scribo. I still haven't gotten over the Oilers leaving Houston. I went to several games their first season with my father, when they won the first AFL championship. We were hooked. Bud Adams will rot in Hell.

that's how sports works. we pick a side and root for "the good guys" against "the bad guys." remember, the word fan is short for fanatic, after all.
