On right now on ESPNU

-They are starting with PG'S.
-They went through Coaches and GM's in attendence. Did not see any notable Rockets reps. there.

I was hoping to watch this today, but it isn't something for which I was even considering taking vacation.

OK, I did consider it for about 10 seconds.

Usually its not really worth watching. This year, since there is so much volitility from 2 to 20, these guys have alot to prove in the next two days.

You can see Rockets staffers under the basket (right side) ... I see scout Brent Johnson, VP Sam Hinkie and I can't tell, but that may be Rockets international scout Arturas Karnisovas there close to Danny Ainge.

What are your thoughts on the Perry Jones comments that he's a 4 that has to play inside and pick and pop?

Now we have to build a team that can beat the Thunder, Lakers, and Heat.

"Inspiration for the beard is John Lennon." Royce White.

Great interview. He seems very grounded and sounds like he uses professional, friends and family support structure for his anxiety.

If we keep one of the picks, I'd take a flyer out on him with one of them, assuming we got something out of draft day, as well.

I can't believe what Jeff Taylor said in that interview. Damn. I know they exist, but to be public about it? Wow.

I couldn't watch either, but here's a few updates:

Jeff Goodman ‏@GoodmanCBS :

Quote:
At NBA Combine here in Chicago. Point guards on floor now. Kendall Marshall just made 14-of-30 from deep. Damian Lillard effortless.

Damian Lillard just shot the you-know-what out of the ball here. Terrific mechanics. Question is whether he can run a team.

Jeff Teague, Tyshawn Taylor and Tony Wroten all in a group. Tyshawn shooting it well; other two struggling a bit.

Thomas Robinson just told me he measured 6-8 3/4 with shoes. 7-3 wingspan and 5 percent body fat. Official measurements released tomorrow.

Bradley Beal measured 6-4 1/4 and 6-8 wingspan.

Perry Jones III one of few lottery picks playing at Combine. Playing with intensity. Appears on a mission to prove critics wrong.

Andrew Nicholson doesn't miss. So skilled around basket and also from perimeter.

Moe Harkless was very impressive here earlier today. Shot it well and played with intensity.

Jared Sullinger said he was measured at 6-9 with shoes. That's significant.

Austin Rivers said he was measured at 6-5 with shoes. Good size for NBA two-guard.
NBA Guru ‏@NBAGuru :

Quote:
Tyshawn Taylor very impressive. Good size for a PG, hitting his jumpers, working extremely hard.

Damian Lillard has a low release point on his jump shot, but puts great rotation on the ball. Just nailed about 18 of 20 jumpers.

Jeremy Lamb says he's being told he'll go on the Top 10 and possibly the Top 5 depending on how his workouts go.

There's a little bit of Kenneth Faried in Jae Crowder and it isn't just the hair. Guy's got a great motor and makes plays.

When Moe Harkless fills out, he's going to have great size at the 3. He really jumps out at you among the SFs.

Moe Harkless swishing jumpers left & right. Also has a high release point. Very impressive.

Draymond Green has to be one of the most skilled players here. Just watching him, his mechanics are practically flawless.

Henson just completely stuffed a Nicholson baby hook. Other parts of his game need work, but the dude can block a shot with anyone.

Power forwards easily the most impressive group thus far. Of the 10 guys, good chance 5 are 1st Rounders.

There isn't a string bean among this group of centers. Meyers Leonard and Festus Ezeli look like they could be at a boxing gym.
Sam Amick ‏@sam_amick :

Quote:
Source says Washington point guard Tony Wroten measured out at 6-foot-6 in Chicago combine. He was considered 6-5 before - every inch counts
